Terms of Service

1. Agreement
These Terms of Service govern any project engagement, consultation, or service arrangement between you ("Client") and Ranajit Dhar ("I", "me"), a freelance AI systems and full-stack developer. By engaging my services, you agree to these terms.
2. Services
I provide AI agent development, automation, chatbot development, AI integration, Python automation, and web/website development services as described on the services page. The exact scope of any project will be agreed upon separately, typically after a discovery call.
3. Project Scope & Changes
Each project begins with an agreed scope of work. Requests outside the original scope may be treated as additional work and billed separately, subject to prior discussion and agreement.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms (including any upfront deposit, milestone payments, or full payment on delivery) will be agreed upon before work begins, on a per-project basis. Late payments may result in a pause of ongoing work.
5. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, ownership of the final deliverables (code, designs, and assets created specifically for your project) transfers to the Client, unless otherwise agreed in writing. I retain the right to showcase completed work in my portfolio unless you request otherwise.
6. Third-Party Tools & Services
Projects may rely on third-party services, APIs, or platforms (e.g., hosting, AI model providers, automation tools). Costs, usage limits, and availability of these third-party services are outside my control and are the Client's responsibility to maintain post-delivery unless otherwise agreed.
7. Warranties & Liability
Services are provided on a professional, best-effort basis. I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of delivered work. Post-delivery support terms (if any) will be specified per project.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate an ongoing engagement with written notice. Work completed up to the termination date will be billed accordingly.
9. Changes to These Terms
These Terms of Service may be updated occasionally. Continued use of my services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
